I was taking Scouts to Sea Base and needed a van. After searching for several days, I was surprised that they were so hard to get. I went to this Enterprise around the corner from my office and asked if they had anything available. He said they didn't, but took down my name and number and he'd let me know. I found one online with Avis and reserved it before looking at their reviews, just happy I could get one. After looking at this Avis' reviews, I was dreading it. Even recent reviews were dismal at best.
I got a call two hours before I was going to pick it up from Enterprise asking if I still wanted the van. I hadn't gotten a call that one was available, but I was so excited that I checked my cancelation policy on the other rental and went with Enterprise even though I had a $150 cancelation fee. When we went to pick it up it was a five star experience. The person who checked us out made it quick, easy, and stress free.
My only complaint is that it cost me $150 since they didn't let me know sooner.
Very poor customer service, and for a car rental place they have no cars to give you. That is a complete and utter failure as a business. No call for heads up about this issue, poor communication, no solutions, just said "you are on our waiting we call you when we have a car to give you."
I asked how long is going to be?
"Oh I don't"
What the hell is that?! That's not customer service that's just a failure in helping your customers. If you don't have cars available then don't show them on your website or app!

The staff was not very friendly no one looked up from their desk the young lady that assisted me seemed as if we were bothering her. The car sounded like a motorcycle my boyfriend is 6"4 he had to sit bunched up I would hit his elbow trying to change gears the car was like a death trap it took a minute to pick up speed. To say it was compact is an understatement. We ask about an upgrade the young lady was disinterested and lackadaisical and replied they were all booked up. I thought maybe she would offer to call one of the other location to see if they had anything. Good business practice and would have been good customer service. She was not very accommodating at all. I use to rent from your company all the time. Never again will be looking at other rental agencies for my rental needs from now on. We left there with a very nasty taste in our mouths. Note when I went back to drop off the sardine can everyone was very friendly to little to late.
If i could give a negative review i would. Here we are a few short weeks before christmas and this company is trying to rob the working man. Enterprise put me in a Carolla my insurance company covered up to 600 and 25 a day. They made the contract with me showing a $23 balance.the insurance company settled out early and only covered a portion . Of this settlement. Enterprise called once to let me know that it would come out of pocket from that day forward. Never got the call as it came through spam. They wait an entire week before making the second attempt at calling racking up $180. Dont waste your time with these cons. Go to hertz!!!

Brian was super helpful and understanding. The entire Enterprise team treated me with respect and kindness.
